#4... find the route with the least amount of traffic, stop lights/signs, and turns so you can stay at a constant speed more often. of course, turns are not much of a factor since i use my ultra no braking technique ;D

how do you do that during the morning rush hour though? try not to tailgate, ease on the gas during traffic. (i.e. if the car in front of you brakes, you dont have to gas it to get close to him)
