the trick for me isn't so much the competition and stuff. to be honest i'm kinda... burning out of all that i missed 2 seasons so far, and if i do what i want to do to my car, i'll need another vehicle to continue practicing in cuz the 7 won't be up to the job. at least in the foreseeable future. but in terms of value for the seat time. drifting is all nice and all, and you do get the time on there, but compare that to a regular HPDE, you get coaches, you get the full track, not just an autox setup that's setup for drift, and skid pad. i guess my priorities are just different in what i want to practice in and for what. i'm simply not a drifter like that. i'm a car driver. and i see more value in a full track experience with experienced coaches yelling in your ear on how you fucked up.

well...anyone can be "coaches" coz regardless of the event, you are still able to talk to anyone and ask for help and jsut from my experiences 100% of the people are always willing to help you. I think the only major difference is that you have someoen telling you what you did wrong or figuring out what you did wrong then have someone help you on it.
but over all.. O' Doyle Rules.
